Thematically this years anthology is very multifaceted and focuses a great deal on light hearted humor. There are many pieces exploring identity, love, world conflict, and whimsical discovery. This could be in part due to the diverse number of genres featured in this years anthology including: playwriting, poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and song lyrics. Some pieces include: the hilarious short play “Cough,” by Ben Cockell, the simple yet elegant poem “Dolphin Dive,” by Eli Wood, the relatable poem “Too Grown Up,” by Amy Cao, and the haunting and somewhat disturbing short fiction piece “The Cow,” by Vladyslava Kozachok.
