Templeton students collaborate on the expansive “Urban Haiku,” where the lines still ring true today – “Club Monaco Shirts / On sale for thirty dollars / Bought fifteen of them.” “An Unforgotten War” explores the friendship of an American soldier and a Korean child who turns out to be a North Korean spy. “Joan of Arc” honours the eponymous French heroine’s braveness. “Satirical Poetical Emulation” takes after e.e. cummings’ famous experimental stylings. “A Day of Wrath” revives 1950s culture in this short story set in McCarthyist America.
