The years anthology is filled with poetry and prose showcasing descriptive and vivid imagery. The 33rd anthology doesn’t shy away from the heavy hitting topics like body dysmorphia within Cate MacPherson’s haunting poem “SKINNY.” A sense of longing and despair is displayed with Joy Warburton’s “The Brightest Star”. In addition, the haunting and destructive visual language is realized in Hannah Seaton’s poem “The Storm,” as well as the power of simplicity is shown within the poem “Hollow” by Ana Grace Kolakovic.
